My research focuses on the behaviors of Earth's materials under high pressure-temperature conditions.

Single-crystal elasticity
Brillouin spectroscopy is a great method to investigate the single-crystal elastic properties of different materials. Combining diamond anvil cell or laser heating, we can investigate the elasticity of minerals under extremely high pressure-temperature conditions.

Electrical conductivity
Combining complex impedance spectroscopy with multi-anvil press, we could measure the electrical conductivity of different materials under high pressure and temperature conditions.

Viscosity of magmas
Utilizing the synchrotron falling-sphere viscometry techniques, I could measure the viscosity of magmas under high pressure-temperature conditions.
